in Old Havana

Santa Isabel exterior

Santa Isabel lobby

Enjoying the most privileged position in Havana's Plaza de Armas colonial square in the very centre of Old Havana, the Santa Isabel was originally the palace of the Count of Santovenia and became Havana's most elegant hotel in 1867. Home to many famous visitors over the years, the property retains its original elegance and splendour as well as offering guests wonderful views from its terrace, including Havana's imposing fortresses over the water and the towering statue of Christ overlooking the city from across the bay.

Hotel Saratioga is a part of the Habaguanex project — this innovative program reinvests a portion of the funds obtained from room sales into the continuing renovation of Old Havana as well as supporting a number of programs for residents of the area.
